  • Free Champion's Rune

Instead of paying 200,000 bits to get the Champion's Rune, go to the Village of the Hidden Rune when the Star Dragon Sword sends you 300 years to the past. After Yuber burns the village, go back into the town through the back door of the village chief's house and back into the village.   • Need Money ?

Here's a great way to build up your money. Just be sure you have 10,000 bits on you and go to the town of Rockland. You will meet a lady that plays the cup game. She will ask you how much you wish to bet - 100, 1,000 or 10,000.Suikoden 3 Cheat Engine Game Time
Bet your 10,000 bits and choose the cup on the right. You should win the game and gain the money. Then quit and go back to the lady and play the cup game again. Bet another 10,000 bits and choose the cup on the right. Keep doing this until you receive all the money you want.

  • Old Book Volume 9

Once you've collected all 8 Old Books, go to the library and highlight Volume 8, press all four buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square) at once and a secret 9th book will appear: Hirotakas Development Diary. This only works on Japanese versions as it has been removed from the English releases.

  • Saving Pahn

Play 15 games a few times and write down each spot the coin is at and u will soon see a pattern i have it worked at 15 games but it i havent tried for more.. Also u should save each time before u play Marco as it does not always run the pattern i find the pattern changes brifly from the pattern u would have worked out every 5 or 6 games then it reverts back to the original pattern.Cheat

  • Chris: Go to level 99 in Chapter 1

When you go to plains to meet the Grasslanders for a peace treaty, they suddenly attack. You will be taken to a major battle. Defeat all the enemies instead of retreating as instructed. If you defeat all enemies, proceed to the location where you were supposed to retreat. The battle will end. Chris, Salome, Borus, and Roland will all gain two levels. On Amur Plains after the battle, unequip your armor and let yourself be killed. Do not proceed to Karaya Village. When asked to give up, select 'No Way'. You will return to last save point, but still will have the two levels gained for everyone. Return to the major battle and repeat.

  • Easy Potch

Go to the Trading Post at Brass Castle (it is the Grasslander near the far right exit to the map) and buy an Ancient Text for about 1,000 Potch. Then, go to the trading post in Vinay del Zexay and resell it for 20,000 to 30,000 Potch. Also, buy a Crystal Ball here for under 100 Potch. The, resell it at Duck Village for over 8,000 Potch.

  • Extra Scenario

  • Finding characters

Go to the Duck Village Inn. Go to the farthest room from the screen and talk to the kid. You will have to help him with something. After that, he will go to Lake Castle. After you name the castle, go to elevator and go to the floor with the detective/storehouse and find Kidd. Talk to him and chose 'Scout'. He will scout for a character for about 300 Potch. He will hint about the character's location and/or how to get them. This works with Geddoe, Chris, and Hugo. You can only recruit characters after visiting Budehuc Castle. Also, Budehuc Castle is the only place where you can change your party.

  • Get Ayame A Ninja

First get Watari. Then go to the North Cavern and go to the very back of it and Ayame will be there. A cut scene will occur and then Watari will duel her. She is not to hard. When you win you will get her.

  • Koroku

If you have gotten Koroku the dog to join you, you can talk to him at your homeland and play as him. You can take a walk, go to the horse girl, and race with him. He is found near the front of the castle on the left side, near the dog house.

  • Luc's storyline battles

When you play Luc's storyline you can only do the battles in which Geddoe, Hugo and Chris have lost to Luc or his followers.

  • Reference to Suikoden I

When asked to pick a castle name, enter 'Toran' to get a small cutscene with references to the first Suikoden.
