Across the Toolbar of the VisualBoy Advance emulator you'll see 'Cheats'; If you couldn't already guess, this is where you'll want to input cheats at. Click on this and mouse down to 'Cheat List' which is the box you see in the screen shot below. First, make sure you have the mach bike (swap in mauville city if needed). Fly to pacifidlog, then surf to the right a short distance till you see the opening in the rocks on top. Go into them, turn right and go forward at the next opening to reach the sky pillar. I recommend having a fast pokemon at the front of your party to run, as having all of your pokemon to rack up turns will be needed. The sky pillar is filled with lvl 40+ ghost pokemon. Go up the stairs on the other side and there will be cracks in the ground. In order to get to the top, you will need good handling with the mach bike because the cracks make up little puzzles. At the second crack ground area, once you get to the end there will be one crack, two cracks in the center, and one crack on the end. STOP ON ONE OF THE CENTER CRACKS! You will fall down and enter the stairway. Once you go through the hallways, you will get to the top and see Rayquaza coiled up in the center. Rayquaza is LVL. 70 and knows Outrage, rest, fly, and extreme speed. Have lots of timer balls and ultra balls and Hopefully have Kyogre. IT IS SUGGESTED YOU PARALYZE IT.

To capture latius you must roam around the tall grasses of route number 113.

To get Registeel go to the cave by Safari Zone. Go in the middle and use fly. The door should open. Save! Have a lot of timer balls and ultra balls.

Chimecho is one of the rarer pokemon in thegame. You can find Chimecho at Mt. Pyre. Most ofthem will know confusion, take down, uproar, andyawn.

To catch Rayquaza it'll take some time, buthere's how, get ultra & timer balls during thebattle it will get into better effect.

Go to the desert in the to the top right their is2 fossils. The Devon Corportion 1 of the sciencewill make the fossil into Lileep.

Found in Petalburg Woods.

After you become the champion of The Elite Four,go to Lilycove City. Enter the huge market onthe roof. On certain days, there will be a ClearOut Sale with good items for a Secret Hideout.

Once you are able to track down Sharpedo in yourPokedex, do whatever is necessary to capture it.It is an excellent Water/Dark Pokemon thatalready knows Crunch, Dark's most powerfulattack. His speed is incredible and will be ofgreat use later in the game.

Your 1st Gym leader you will take on is Roxannein Rustboro City and her Pokemon are lv. 14Geodude and lv. 15 Nosepass. If you take hertribe on with Grass or Water type Pokemon thebattle will be so easy.Your 2nd Gym leader you will take on is Brawly inDewford Town and his Pokemon are lv. 17 Machopand lv. 18 Makuhita. If you bring a good flyingor psychic pokemon you will zip through thebattle, but you will need Flash to get to Brawly.Your 3rd Gym leader you will battle is Wattson inMauville City and his Pokemon are lv. 22Magnemite, lv. 20 Voltorb and lv. 23 Magneton.Get a ground type Pokemon and just count yourselfworthy of Dynamo Badge.Your 4th Gym leader is Flannery in Lavaridge Townand her pokemon are 2x lv. 26 Slugma and a lv.28. Torkoal. To get Metagross, Stevens pokemon from elitefour, beat Steven and elite four, then go toSteven's house, He will give you the first formof metagross.

Roam the grasses of route 110. You have a 5% chance of finding it. It is blue.

Other than receiving it as a prize from the Trick Master, you can get a Smoke Ball by challenging Ninja Boy Lao on Route 113. Beat him five times, and on the sixth time you challenge him, use the attacks Thief or Covet on one of his Pokemon and you will steal a Smoke Ball. It's usually on his Weezing. This item is useful if you need to run from any wild Pokemon battle.

In order to get luvdisc you need to beat thegame, have a superod (found somewhere in Mosdeepcity)the HM's Surf and fly when you have allthese things. Use fly to go to the bottom of EverGrand City. Go over near the water by thewaterfall don't go down it. Fish around until youcan find the pokemon known as Luvdisc.Note: most of the Luvdisc have the item Heartscale.

Go south till you hit the water go in the watergo do north and when you hit the rocks. Garodosewill pop up. Use a master ball to catch him.

To get Jirachi, you need Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire,a GBA/Gamecube link cable, and Pokemon ColleseumBonus Disc. You can download Jirachi onto theGBA game. It's a Steel/Psychic type and you getit at level 5. It says it's original trainer isWshmkr, but you don't actually trade for it. Itcan help against Brawly because it will knowConfusion. It will eventually learn Doom Desire,a powerful Steel attack that hits 2 turns laterand isn't affected by types. Mine is at level 64and knows Psychic, Doom Desire, Hidden Power,and Shock Wave.

To get to the battle tower you have to beat thepokemon leauge and then you can go on the S.S. Tidal and go to battle tower.(after you get there you can fly to battle tower)

Other than by evolution, it can be found onSafari Zone

Dive Ball,the ball that better against Pokemon onthe floor,and you can find Dive Ball at MossdeepCity for 1,000$ and at Abandoned Ship.

The Silver Powder is a hold item that increasesthe power of Bug type attacks. There are two waysto get the Silver Powder. The first way is to winit at the Battle Tower. The second way is to goto Route 120. There should be a Bug Maniac namedBrandon. You have to beat him in a battle fivetimes. On the sixth time have a Pokemon thatknows the move Trick. Use trick on all ofBrandon's Pokemon and one will have the SilverPowder!

To get the Blackbelt, go to Route 115. There willbe a trainer called Blackbelt Nob. Beat him in afight five times. On the sixth time, have aPokemon that knows the move Trick. Use Trick onall of his Pokemon. One will have the Blackbelt!Getting the Dragon Fang is the same way. Go toMeteor Falls. There will be a trainer calledDragon Tamer Nicholas. After fighting him fivetimes, use the move Trick on one of his Pokemon.One will have the Dragon Fang!

Get the Acro Bike and hold B without moving theD-pad to bunny hop.

After you become league champion. watchtelevision for rare Pokemon sightings andspecial deals at shops in Slateport.

You can find Trick Master's house aboveSlateport City. Sometimes you have to get a HMmove to complete the level. There are tasks tocomplete and trainers to battle. You have tofind a scroll and memorize it, then go to thedoor in the back. You will see Trick Master.Talk to him and he will give you a prize. If youwant to see him again, you will have to wait forhim.

Treecko is a Grass type Pokemon. You can get itas a starter. Treecko evolves at level 16 andturns in to Grovyle, a Grass type. After that,it evolves again at level 36 to Sceptile, aGrass type.

Torchic is a Fire type Pokemon and you get it asa starter. Torchic evolves at level 16 and turnsin to Combusken, a Fire/Fighting type. Afterthat, it evolves at level 36 into Blaziken, aFire/Fighting type.

In order to do this, you must Have waterfall,Surf Pokemon at least level 35. Aqua/Maga willsteal the meteorite. However, there is more forthe Meteor Falls. Go deep into the cave. UseWaterfall on the fall. Go through the cave andfind TM 02.

You can only have sixteen items stored in yourSecret Base.When you are trying to find a good base foryourself, look inside every different base youfind. The interior of the rooms differ fromplace to place, though some are the same. If youalready have a base and want to see insideothers, save your game, enter it, and make ityour base if it suits you.

Once you reach Mauville City, there is abuilding called Rydel's Cycles. Go inside andtalk to Rydel. Once he learns that you havewalked from Littleroot Town to Mauville City, hewill give you a bike to ride. There are twobikes that you can have -- the Mach Bike and theAcro Bike. The Mach Bike can go fast, but hasvery bad handling. It is used for riding upsandy slopes and for speeding past crumblingfloors in some caves. The Acro Bike is the oneyou can do tricks on. It does not go as fast asthe Mach Bike, but has very good handling. Youcan hold B while riding to do wheelies, or stopand hold B to do little bunny hops. You can alsotap B + D-pad in any direction to take littlejumps. This bike is used for getting acrossnarrow, white rails that span some rivers.

First, try using Kyamome or a Water/Grassstarter. Then, try Water/Fire starter Grass atlevel 20 to 25. Finally, try Sandshrew with lotsof Ground attack.If you chose Torchick as your first Pokemon, youwill soon find out that the first Gym Leaderwill be difficult without the proper Pokemon.When you reach the first beach area (next to theforest entrance), try to catch a Wingull. Thenwhile in the forest, spend some time to level itup and your Torchick. Get the Wingull to atleast level 10, and the Combuskin to about level16 to 18. You can now take out the threeGeodudes the Leader has with the Wingull's Water-Gun, and use the Combuskin as backup.

Go through the tunnel by the cable cars thatlead to Mt. Chimney. Then, go right until youcan go up. You will find a person looking at asort of 'pine tree'. Talk to him to receive TM43or Secret Power. You can now make Secret Bases.

When going after the legendary representing theteam of your game (Team Aqua or Team Magma),bring about 30 Ultra Balls, quite a few Revives,and at least a level 50 Pokemon. The Pokemonwill be at level 45, and will be extremelydifficult to catch. The only sure way to catchit is if you bring a Pokemon with a move thatwill freeze or paralyze it. Try as hard as youcan not to kill it, but get it down to a redzone so far down that you can barely see it.Then, go mad throwing Ultra Balls at it. Do notuse other Pokeballs. The will help greatlyagainst the Elite Four and the final Gym leader.

Other than trading for Pikachu, it can be foundon Route 116.

When you first use the Itemfinder, it may seemas if it only gives generalized hints aboutsurrounding items. However, upon closerinspection, each use turns your character in thedirection of the buried item. By moving in thatdirection and using the Itemfinder again, youcan effectively track down any item.

After you deliver the letter to Steven, go tothe Devon Corp. and talk to the president. Heshould give you an Experience Share forimpressing him, and for his thanks.

Torchic proves to be the best as you get fartherin the game, but proves to be difficult in thebeginning. Mudkip is strong in the beginning,but weaker against the Elite Four. Mudkip is agood choice if playing Pokemon Ruby. Treeko issomewhat neutral, but is best to choose ifplaying Pokemon Sapphire because of Team Aqua.

Use against Pokemon in Safari Zone(quantity:30), if you pay 500$ in Safari Zone onroute 121 they will give you 30 Safari Ball andyou can enjoy catching pokemon in Safari Zone.

On Route 24, there is a treasure hunter. Givehim a shard and he will give you a stone thatrepresents the color of the shard. For example,Red Shard for a Fire Stone, Blue Shard for aWater Stone, and a Green Shard for a Leaf Stone.

Right after you you talk to profser birch at thebeggining of the game you have to move on. Youcan't battle over there. you have to go to thenext city. You will have to evolve your pokemon.the pokemon gym leader has a very strong pokemon.

After catching Groudon, it should know FireBlast, Slash, and Earthquake. Do the side questwhere you have to go to New Mauvile and getThunderbolt. Teach Thunderbolt to it, making itforget Slash. Then, go to the Safari Zone andget Solarbeam. Make it forget the move that isnot Earthquake, Fire Blast and Thunderbolt, andteach it Solarbeam. Your Groudon now knows fourof the most powerful moves in the game and theyare all of different types. Get it up to level70 and it will almost never lose.

Whatever the experience points needed for thePokemon you left in the Daycare Center to reachthe next level, is how many steps you need totake when walking around. For example, if yourPikachu was on level 3 when you left him at theDaycare Center and he needs 57 experience pointsto reach level 4, you must take 57 steps for himto reach that level.To make your Pokemon levels up faster, go to theDaycare Center and drop off a Pokemon. Gooutside and walk forwards then backwards (orvice versa).Put your Pokemon in the Daycare Center and leaveit. Go down and to the left. There should be aline of trees. Go directly up against the treesand get on your bike (Acro recommended, as it isthe fastest). Ride all the way to the left asfar as you can go. Keep going back and forth asfar as possible and eventually your Pokemon willgain levels fairly quickly. This is also usefulif you want eggs.Note: If you leave your Pokemon in the DaycareCenter for too long, it will not evolve into itsnext form (if it has one).

To get the Ludicolo you have to give a Lombre awater stone.

In mauville there is a game corner. In mauvillego to the mart, stop. Don't go in. go to thehouse on the left of the mart. go in. Talk tothe lady. She says she wants harbor mail. Go toslateport mart and buy harbor mail. go back tomauville. Go to her, she will say the samething. Then poof. She notices you have harbormail and trades you a coin case for it. Havesome money and buy coins. And play all day.

In Pokemon Contest houses, you may enter yourPokemon into a contest for a chance to win amedal. However if you enter without any Poroklevel ups, you will have a very low chance ofwinning. The way to raise this is to go out andfind the trees with berries on them, then pressA. You will then receive 1 to 4 berries. If younow go to a Pokemon House, you will see smallgray machines on the right. The empty one on thetop is for multi-player. For now, find a housein a city that only has a man at the bottom. Goto the other side of the machine and press A.You will then be asked to pick a Porok (berry)and throw it in. The spinner will come down andstart moving. The objective is to press A justwhen the spinner hits your arrow:Circle Within A Circle: Direct hit (much faster)Circle: Near hit (slightly faster)X: Miss (slower:The faster you (and your opponent) get thespinner moving, the better. Once the meter atthe top hits the end, it is over and the resultsand the fastest RPM the spinner was moving willappear. You will then receive a Blended Porok.The level of it depends on how fast you got themachine going. The average appears to be 11.Next, open your Special Items Pocket and go toyour 'Pez dispenser' type item (which you musthave to play the game -- it is obtained from thegirl in the first contest house). You will thenpick a Blended Porok and feed it to a pet,making one of his Pokemon Contest stats(viewable in the Poke-Navi) go up. Some can evenraise multiple stats. The more you do this, thebetter chance you have of winning.

After defeating the Elite Four, go to Lilycove.Go into the inn and talk to the man there. Hetalks about some people who call themselves GameFreak. If you go upstairs you will find them,just like in Celedon City in Pokemon Red, Blue,and Yellow. Also, go in front of the inn keeperwatching television. He will get mad andyell, 'Hey you, down in front! Move I can't seethe television!'.

You need a Pokemon that knows the Endeavor move.Have the Pokemon get hurt so that it only hasabout 1 HP remaining. Go into battle with thepokemon that you want to catch. Use Endeavor.The move will take the opponent down to 1 HPalso, and make it a lot easier to catch.Go to the Safari Zone with a Pokmeon that knowsSweet Scent. Instead of walking and wastingsteps, stand in one spot and use Sweet Scent.The wild Pokemon will come to you.

You knowthose thin bridges that you can't walkacross? Well, you use the Acro Bike to jump fromthe end of one to the beginning of another. (Thiscan be useful in the Safari Zone and on route121.)

When facing your rival at the start that hasTreecko, use a level 6 Wurmple; Mudkip use alevel 7 Silccoon or Cascoon; Torchic use a level5 to 6 Wingull. Wingull can be found in Route103. Wurmple can be found in Route103. To getCascoon or Silccoon, evolve Wurmple at level 7.

When you go on the Abandoned Ship and end uptalking to a man who needs a Scanner, find aroom with water in it. Have a Pokemon that knowsDive and can use it with you. Dive at the end ofthe pool, and come back up slightly away. Youwill be in a room with six doors. In each willbe a key to the next room. It will shine on theground, but it may just be a shiny piece oftrash. The key is in door two. Go back and talkto the man again. He will say to deliver it toCaptain Stern for him, and that he wants tofurther explore the ship. Fly back to Slateportand go into the ferry ride. Captain Stern isthere. Talk to him and he will offer a trade forthe Scanner; the Deepseascale, and theDeepseatooth. The Deepseascale raises theSpecial Defense of a Clamperl, and theDeepseatooth raises its Special Attack.

Buy at least ten Pokeballs and you will get afree Premier Ball.

After you unlock the three rare Pokemon, thePokemon in the cave on the road after the townwith the tree houses, the hidden messagesis 'With new time Hope and love Aim to the skyin the middle'.

To catch Ralts, a Psychic type Pokemon, early inthe game, go into the grass directly outside ofPetelsburg. You must have a positive dispositionto encounter this Pokemon, which means yourPokemon must be attracted to you. This early inthe game, it is almost impossible for them toreally like you. It is weak at first, but apowerful Psychic type Pokemon can be very usefullater in the game.Found in Route 102

Must hatch from an egg you receive at the pokemonday care, but only of Male or female Marill visitthe Day Care while one of them is holding SeaIncense.

To get a secert base you need secert powder.Youcan get secert powder on route 111 and after youget it you should be able to get it in slateportcity.

Press B on a bike to pop a wheelie. Without abike you will run.

Hold select + up + B. Then, answer yes to the prompt to clear all game data areas? .

Go to the desert and look at all the rocks thatitems are found in. Press 'A' infront of themyou will evenyually find it.

Mix records with a Ruby or Sapphire that has anEon ticket, and Emerald will get the Eon Ticket.Use it at the SS Tidal to go to Southern Island,after the E4. You'll find a forest area that hasan egg in the middle. Press A at the egg to findthe [email protected] you did not choose. ex. If you saidyou saw a Blue Pokemon on the TV(Latios) youwill encounter Latias, and vice versa.

You must beat the Elite Four for this to happen.Go to the Weather Institute. Then go upstairs andtalk to the person. He will tell you about eithera drought or heavy rainfall. Drought means thatGroudon is nearby. Severe rainfall means Kyorgeis up and at em'. The guy will tell you whatRoute the weird weather is at. If you're lookingfor Groudon, look for cave entrances thatshouldn't be there. If it's Kyorge you're after,look for Dive spots that shouldn't be there( it'stough!). The poke'mon will be at Lv. 70, so keepyour guard on. They will use Rest on some turns,so you will have an easier chance of catching it.I found out that Ultra Balls have the most effectwhen they are asleep at FULL HP!

If you go to the safari zone before you beat theelite 4 there will be two people in one spotsaying that 'this part of the safari zone isunder construction' but after you beat the elitefour go back it will be open and there you cancatch pokemon from johto. You can't catch thesepokemon anywhere else in the game.

After defeating the Elite Four, you will meet upwith your parents back at your house. Aftertalking, the TV will start flashing and you willstart watching it. The TV will talk about amysterious flying pokemon only static will blockout the color of the pokemon. After that, yourmom will ask you what color the pokemon was. Ifyou say Red, Latias will appear randomlythroughout Hoenn. If you say Blue, Latios willappear randomly throughout Hoenn.

You get rayquaza at the sky pillar, after the pokemon league. If you go before the sky pillar wont be their.

Go to lilycove city (the place with the poke'mon contests)and go in the contest building. Once there, go right. You should see four silver boxes. Click on one of them. You should start making poke'blocks.

Put the pokemon you want to clone in an emptybox, then take it out and put it in another box(make sure it's a different box), then save. Butwhen it says 'Saving do not turn off power,'turn it off. The next time you turn the gameback on there should be two of the pokemon youcloned. This could corrupt your save file, so use at your own risk.

In order to get the Master Ball, you have to goto Team Magma's hide out in the city with thepokemon contests. Only use the Master Ball forthe pokemon that is in space.

The safari zone is still the same. The onlydifferance is there will be 2 more places thatare filled with johto pokemon.

This Pokemon is very easy to obtain, but isquite good. It is the only Bug and Ghost typePokemon. It has 1 HP no matter how high itslevel, but its special power Wonder Guard makesit almost invincible. Wonder Guard protectsagainst all attacks except for those that aresuper effective. For example, Bug is weakagainst Flying types; if someone uses a Flyingtype move on Shedinja, it is going to get hit.To get Shedinja, you will need a Nincada. Youcan catch one on Route 116. Make sure you have afree slot for a new Pokemon (Shedinja). Thatmeans you can have only five Pokemon, includingNincada. Make sure you have at least one of thetype of Pokeball you used to catch Nincada with.For example, if you caught Nincada with a GreatBall, make sure you have at least one GreatBall. There is a yellow poochyena in Petalburg woods.It takes some time to find it.

Are you getting sick of going into grass, water, and caves and can't even take 10 steps without meeting a pokemon that is common or you already caught and can't afford a repel here's your answer. Make sure you have the clense tag and the black flute give the first pokemon the clense tag and use the black flute and you should be able to walk and have less wild pokemon jumping at you. Beware go through a door, cave, or different route use the black flute again.

Hit and hold select and B while at the picture of the glowing Rayquaza and then it says you can use berry fix with ruby/sapphire. Also works with leafgreen and firered.

Hi! After you beat the elite 4, go to the battle frontier. Talk to this one person. They'll say there's a weird tree. Its not a tree. Its a level 40 sudowoodo. Surf on the water near it. Go left as far as you can on the water. There's a cave. Its full of level 40 and up smeargle. Fly to the fossil maniacs house (same house where you get dig). Go in the door. The fossil maniac found a tunnel. He tells you its dangourouse and there's probably no fossils. Hes wrong. In the tunnel, there are ditos and whismur and loudred. The dittos not the prize. You no the fossil at in the desert you don't choose? Its at the end but it takes forever to reach the end. And altering from fire red and leaf green is there. I guess its called altering cave because alters regions. Its near the water on the route to the right of oldale (also I could say surf to the other plot of land where you first battle may). So presto! You now have 2 or three new pokemon and can go to kanto! Oh and if you talk to the guy on the top floor of the weather institute, he'll tell you about droghts and rain storms in unusual areas (AKA, its where groudon/kyogre are).

Eevee+Fire stone=flaereon
Eevee+Water stone=vapoeron
Eevee+Thunderstone=joelteon
If it evolves in the morning or the afternoon, it will evolve into a Espeon. If it evolves at night, it will evolve into a Umbreon. I swear that I have done this and it worked.

In order to catch Latios/Latias, you must have a pokemon in your party that knows Mean Look or Block. Trapinch's Arena Trap is not enough to prevent Latios/Latias. I read that Arena Trap doesn't work on Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate.

Slakoth's are rare and very hard to catch and train but they are incredibly worth while. First play up to the Petalsburg Woods and on the first grass patch to the right there are some slakoth's in bushes waiting to be captured. What you should do is stock up on poke balls (like 5) and have a pokemon that can use growl/tail whip etc. And damage it to the red zone, lower that stats and boom throw the poke ball. NOTE: Slakoths are rare but alive be patient. Though hard to raise use an exp share or something.

You can find Miltank in the Safari Zone afteryou beat the Elite Four. They are in the newarea.

Mirage Island is an invisble Island located onRoute 130. Most of the time it will be invisiblebut on rare cases, the island will be visible.To find out if the island is there or not, go toPacifidlog Town and talk to the old man in thebottom right house looking out the window. Hewill tell you wheter the island is there or not.The cause is unknown so a bit of luck is neededto find it. On the island you will find the rareLeichi Berry that powers up your Pokemon'sattack in battle when it gets weak. In thegrass, you will only find Wild Wynauts.

Talk to Scott in his house in the Battle Frontier, he'll give you certaindecorations/berries depending on your accomplishments in the Battle Frontier.

As you accomplish more along your journey, yourTrainer Card will change colors and rise inrank, depending on completing certain tasks.After completing one task, it will rise in onerank, but there are some tasks that cannot becompleted until beating the Elite Four. You mustdo these tasks:

Fly to Steven's house after you beat the Elitefour, you will get a level 5 Beldum.

Capture all 386 pokemon in your pokedex. Then goto the hotel in Lilycove City and talk to theGame Designer. You will unlock the NationalPokedex Diploma.

Once you beat the Elite Four, you can go to theBattle Frontier.

After you defeated the Elite Four, go to theUpgraded Safari Zone. In the Safari, you cancatch some GSC Pokemon such as Houndour, Aipom,Stantler, Mareep, Miltank, and more GSC Pokemon.This Unlockable works only in Pokemon Emerald.

Every time you encounter a pokemon you have a1/8192 chance of the pokemon being a differentcolor, this is called a shiny pokemon.

You can find an Altaria in Sky Pillar on the 5thfloor. They are rare , but powerful.

There is a SHINY Tentacool in Route 131, on theway to Sky Pillar, by Pacifidlog Town. The chancesare slim, but worth the effort.

After playing the game for about 150+ hours,check the nearest TV. What should come up is amessage from Pokemon News saying that thefamed 'Blend Master' will be found in theLilycove Contest Hall. He'll dish out berriesyou've never seen before, and will make onecolor pokeblock; Gold, lever 52 at least. Thisis very helpful for those who enter contests.

You may have been wondering where to get aSeedot through out Poke'mon Emerald. It's quieteasy! You need to get your pokemon to aroundlevel 15+. (This is to ensure that it likes youa lot.) Go to the area where Wally caught hisRalts (you should know where this is, you wentwith him) and search for one. Once you catch aRalts, go to the house to the right of theRustboro gym. Talk to the guy sitting in thechair next to the table. He will trade you hisSeedot for your Ralts!

Go to Metor Falls, if you get to the back of thecave, surf across the water, there is a littlestrip of land where you can catch Bagon.

Go north from mossdeep city. Go north until yousee some twins. Next to them you should see thecave.

Before you start your quest to capture Groudonand/or Kyogre, you should stock up on timerballs at Rustburo city. Go to the WeatherInstitute and talk to the scientist on the 2ndfloor. Go to the route that the scientist saidhad strange weather. Find a cave (Groudon) or anarea to dive (Kyogre). Save your game and facethe legendary pokemon. Stay in battle for avery,very long time. Weaken the pokemon and throwtimer balls until you catch it. It worked for me.

During the end credits, Hold the B button tomake them go faster.

After the Sudowoodo is gone at the BattleFrontier, use surf to go into the water. Don'tbother looking for a pokemon in the waterbecause there aren't any. Keep going left untilyou see a cave called Artistan Cave full ofSmeargle. They don't call it Artistan Cave fornothing.

Beat the Elite Four and talk to the man in thetop floor of the Weather Institute. He will saywhere the strange weather is and then a littlecave or underwater cave will appear. That'swhere they will be.

Beat the Elite Four and Prof. Birch will giveyou and your rival the National Pokedex. It canhold the information about Pokemon from otherregions.

Beat the Elite Four and then go to Steven'shouse in Mossdeep City.

Beat the Elite Four then Scott will call you andinvite you to come with him to the BattleFrontier. It's a place where you can battle inall these different places. You'd have to takethe SS Anne to get there.

Beat the Elite Four then you will find itlocated on Route 103. You won't really findanything but weak Zubat there. If you're lookingto catch a Zubat, Altering Cave's the place foryou.

He is found at the safari zone when you rocksmash. You have a 10% chance of finding himbecause of the popular geodude.

To be rewarded with the 3 Johto starters(Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita) you mustcatch all 200 pokemon (excluding Jirachi andDeoxys.)

Check a male and a female Pokemon into the daycare- you definitely won't get an egg out of thepairing otherwise. As soon as you check them in,speak to the man who tends the day-care parkoutside. He'll tell you whether the pair ofPokemon is likely to have an egg. If it is,return to the day-care later. If he's standingoutside the park, he's got an egg for you. If hesays, 'They're very friendly...' it's extremelylikely that your pokemon will have an egg. If hesays, 'The two seem to get along...' That meansit's somewhat likely that they'll have an egg.If he says, 'The two don't seem to like eachother...' That means it's not very likely forthem to have an egg. And last, if he says, 'Thetwo prefer to play with other Pokemon...' If hesays that, there's no way they'll make eggs.

To hatch a Pokemon egg, carry it with you untilthe Pokemon breaks out of its shell. For thefastest possible hatcher, the pokemon in yourparty should all be as healthy and as happy ascan be. Eggs rarely hatch quickly, so beprepared to carry the egg for the long haul.
